AN ARTIST WHO INTERPRETS LANDSCAPE TO CREATE A SENSE OF PLACE

Patricia Allen lives in a mountain community close to Yosemite National Park in California.
Landscape, and especially Yosemite, provides constant inspiration for her watermedia and Oil paintings.
She is Director of the annual Paint Yosemite Workshop held each November in Yosemite Valley. The workshop was originally founded by California artist, Jane Burnham. Paint Yosemite features both plein air and studio watermedia painting. Its goals are to provide creative growth, sharing with artists of like mind, and personal interaction with a professional faculty. Instructors boast national credentials.The peaceful, majestic, mountain setting promotes study, creative stimulation, and personal renewal.
